Day 4: Barcelona - Boarding the Carnival Breeze

After a short evening flight from Paris, we had a nice night in Barcelona.  We went for a stroll, had a late supper and then a comfy sleep.  Our next day in Barcelona did not go as planned.  Instead of taking in the Picasso Museum and Sagrada Familia Cathedral, we spent most of the morning at the emergency room after Chloe fell and cut her lip.  So this is the only picture of Barcelona...

We did, however, make it to the port in time to board the Carnival Breeze for its inaugural Transatlantic sailing.

For the next 15 days, the five of us will be sharing all 230 square feet in this deluxe family stateroom!

Poor little Chloe...

Waiting for the emergency drill at our muster station.

On our tour of the ship, our first stop was Club Carnival.
Our kids are going to be spending a lot of time here!

The waterslides overlooking the Lido deck.

A little too cool to use yet...

Luckily, we weren't close enough to get splashed...
We had some amazing burgers for lunch at Guy Fieri's Burger Joint!
And ice cream, too!
The tour continues at the dive in movie theater.

A Foos Ball table for the boys!

 Mini golf course!

 Skycourse!

Chloe probably shouldn't be climbing half walls after what happened earlier...

The kids found the golf clubs...

And more than their share of golf balls!

Ready to set sail out of Barcelona!

Adios Barcelona!  We'll have to come back!

Back to the room for our first night's sleep.
Love the towel animals we got every night - just wish the girls would learn they're not stuffies!  If you play with them, they will break!
