Mother's Day

I woke up on Mother's Day to my beautiful, excited children who wanted to give me my card and presents, which included "Cockaroo", a peacock for my garden.

I was treated to a gift certificate to the Bischoff Spa where I got a pedicure and massage from Charlie and Lucy.

Lucy insisted on getting pretty toes, too!

We then went for brunch at the Officer's Mess.

The food was excellent, especially the dessert!

Charlie couldn't pick just one...

Although she managed to eat some of it, most of Lucy's chocolate tart ended up on her face!

Chloe at Three Months

My two little girls.

Lucy, being wild, as usual.

And slightly more gentle to her baby sister.

Chloe has got really good at holding her head up.

And can grab onto her toes, which she loves to play with!

She's even started playing with her toys!

At less than 3 1/2 months, she's already got 2 teeth.

Now that her teeth have come in, she's been much happier.
She's always full of smiles, especially if she's getting attention.

Garage Sales and Soccer Season...

Lucy, helping me prepare for our garage sale by dressing up in all the old clothes we found.
Soccer season is here again!

Charlie is on the Green Leaping Lizards team this year.

He's off to a good start, scoring a goal in each of the two games we've played so far!

Charlie and Lucy, watching a show together while sharing a chair.

Springtime

Introducing Chloe to the favourite old game of Baby Boat, where the littlest one gets to sit in a box and get a boat ride around the room.
Now, Lucy gets to be the pusher instead of the pushee.

She's very excited about this new role!

All dressed in yellow...

On May 1st, we ran the 2K Run at the Ridge. Charlie ran the whole race without stopping while Lucy and Chloe took it all in from the jogging stroller!

Bubble Trouble

So Friday night was bath night. Phil and Charlie were at Beavers so I had to bathe the two girls on my own.
While changing Chloe's diaper in the other room, Lucy decided to help get the bath ready by pouring a full, jumbo sized, bottle of bubble bath in the tub.

While 2 litres of bubble bath makes a good amount of bubbles, you really don't need that much...

But it did make for a fun bath.

You can play hide and seek with the bath toys!

Chloe's getting pretty big for the baby bath tub.

She was going to have a bath in the big tub but I was worried I'd lose her in all the bubbles.

Instead, Lucy helped me bathe her in the little tub.
After baths, it was time for bed. Lucy didn't agree and attempted to escape.

She came very close, but the fear of falling stopped her from swinging the other leg over.

I think it's almost time for a big girl bed...

Such a goof!
