Happy St Patrick's Day!!!

Waiting for St Patrick's Day Supper. We had Irish Stew, Irish Soda Bread, Green Special Juice, and Green Angel Food Cake!

Let's Eat!

Showing off their all-green outfits!

Dancing a jig on the Emerald Isle...

My little leprechauns!

A Visit from Tom, Meg, Jaimie and Emily

Tom, Meg and the girls stopped in Denver on a road trip through the western states. We spent a beautiful Tuesday exploring downtown Denver.

Eating our take out calzones in City Park.

The kids loved playing with Frankie, the newest member of their family.

Next, we went to Denver Zoo.

We saw the lions.

And zebras.

Giraffes eating termites.

Polar Bear

Baby Bear

Measuring the kids.

The girls have grown so much since we last saw them. Jaimie's as tall as me!

They drove all the way from Canada to see a Canada Goose?!?

Checking out the fish.

Lion Fish

Lucy with Nemo, Dori and Marlin.

Komodo Dragon. If this guy were to bite you, the poison from his mouth would kill you.

Okapi, a cousin to the Giraffes. Not the zebras as we were informed by our budding zoologists, Jaimie and Charlie.

We stopped at the State Capitol building.

On the 13th step, exactly 1 mile above sea level.

For supper, we headed to Casa Bonita, a well known Denver Mexican Restaurant.

The Bischoffs

The brothers.

The restaurant's claim to fame is their cliff divers, just like the ones in Acupulco, which you can watch from your table.

Phil and Chloe

Charlie and Jaimie

The kids roamed around the massive restaurant after eating. They discovered waterfalls, caves and other cool spots.

The cousins.

Watching the Gun Slinger Show.

There were little shows every 15 minutes and for some reason, they always ended up with the bad guy taking a fall off the cliff.

Guess what's going to happen to this pirate....

The Bischoff cousins.

The whole gang after an awesome day!

Winter Days...

We brought Lucy's bike out for the season on March 5th!

Chloe was very happy to have a trike out too so she could keep up with the big kids.

Charlie on his new (from last fall) bike. He now knows how to use the brakes on the handlebar (unlike the first time we took him out and went down a loooong hill in the neighbourhood...)

The neighbourhood kids, all lined up for a race...

And they're off!

Chloe and Lucy, trying their best to keep up!

Lucy after scaling the shelf in my closet. I heard her calling for help. Apparently, she can climb up, but not down...
