On the eve of the 4th of July, we headed north to Commerce City to catch a triple feature at the drive-in!
We hadn't been to the drive-in in almost 2 decades, back in the day when Killarney was the place to go! We thought it would be great with the kids; they could watch Madagascar 3 and then go to sleep in the back of the Pathfinder while we watched the other 2 movies. It went OK, except for the fact that the kids couldn't fall asleep. Charlie and Lucy bickered over who was encroaching on the other's space in the back. We gave up after the second movie and headed home at 1, missing out on The Hunger Games, the one movie we really wanted to see.
