Hawaii - Day 2

Lucy and Cheryl under the falls at the pool next to our building.

The four of us on our early morning stroll. The kids still hadn't got used to the 5 hour time difference so our mornings started at about 5 and we're all in bed by 8.

Lucy and Phil on the edge of the property overlooking the ocean.

The whole gang.

You wouldn't believe the amount of whale activity we observed so close to shore!

Charlie, grudgingly posing for a picture when he could be climbing on rocks.

A rare shot of Lucy looking at the camera when she could be running wild.

And another one!

Charlie and Lucy at the Imu presentation. This is where they prepare the pig in the morning for the evening Luau. They season it, wrap it in leaves and bury it in hot lava rocks to cook all day.

One of seven (we think) dolphins swimming just outside our room!

Phil, Charlie and Lucy on Hapuna beach, one of the best beaches in the USA and just a short drive from our hotel.

Charlie couldn't bother posing for a picture when there was sand to crawl in...

Lucy, burning off some energy.

Covered in sand from head to toe.

Charlie, taking a break from body surfing in the waves.

And back to the surf.

Lucy found a hole to play in...

And dive in...

And get a little stuck...

Chloe taking a little break from the shade of her car seat.
