After an overnight flight via Reykjavik, Iceland and a gruelling train ride from Charles de Gaulle airport to our hotel, we arrived in Paris on November 3!
The view from our hotel room was amazing!
We tried to sleep on the flight but certainly did not get a full nights sleep. So our Saturday was spent trying to keep the kids awake to adjust to the 7 hour time difference. We took a walk by the Eiffel Tower, crossed the Seine River and wandered by Le Trocadero.
For supper, we had fresh sandwiches on french bread and chocolate crepes.

Every hour after dark, the Eiffel Tower lights up with twinkling lights for 5 minutes. It's quite a sight!
