The National Western Stock Show - January 23, 2013

 On a beautiful day in late January, we attended the Pro Rodeo at the National Western Stock Show.

Before the show, we made our way to the petting zoo.

Lucy, once again, was fearless around the animals and insisted on petting each and every one! 

Stinky little pigs - no problem!

Llamas, too!

She would have tried to ride the goat, if allowed.

 Charlie enjoyed the animals, too, and was slightly more gentle with them.

She found a black sheep.

And a white one.

It seems to like her too!

Chloe, although not screaming in terror, was definitely more timid around the animals.

 Luckily, Charlie stuck close by to keep her safe.

 This little guy is just the right size for her!

He even gets a hug from her!

 She really likes this little goat!

 And even this guy, slightly bigger, gets some attention from Chloe.

We made our way to the arena for the show.  It opened with the glowing horse and riders.
